Job Description
Lady Gowrie Tasmania is seeking an Education and Care Manager to lead our Alanvale Long Day Care Service.
Lady Gowrie is a not-for-profit community-based organisation providing Education and Care to children from birth to 12 years of age.
The role
- Alanvale Launceston
- Permanent part time
Our Alanvale Service has up to 55 children in Long Day Care and 20 team members.
As Education and Care Manager you will:
- Manage the delivery of high-quality and safe Education & Care services and programs
- Oversee service operations including family engagement people management and operational excellence
- Lead the service to meet and exceed standards through Assessment and Rating processes
- Build strong relationships with children families and the team
- Mentor team members to grow the capability to deliver quality pedagogy and practice
- Perform Nominated Supervisor responsibilities

Skills and Experience:
- ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education5 years experience in the Education & Care sector
- Proven understanding and practical application of Education and Care National Law and Regulations (National Quality Framework)
- Demonstrated ability to meet the Nominated Supervisor responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding supporting and developing a high performing team
- A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People child related activity and childcare services category
- Police Check (or ability to obtain)
