About the role
SensesWA Occupational Therapists have a predominantly community-based role delivering interventions where our clients live their lives: in homes schools and other community settings. Therapists work closely in dedicated and supportive transdisciplinary teams to provide family and person-centred evidence-based supports to our clients. Our goal is to enable our clients to live their best lives!
Our therapists work with infants children and/or adults with various disability diagnoses including ASD intellectual disability vision and hearing inpairments as well as a range of other conditions/disabilities. Our therapists work within a general caseload of paediatric and adult clients with the flexibility to tailor caseloads based on individual interests and expertise and do our very best to align your caseload to the area you reside.
What you will bring to the role
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current AHPRA Registration
A current drivers licence Working With Children (WWC) Check NDIS Workers screening check First Aid certification and proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
Ability to assess plan implement and deliver person-centred evidence-informed services.
Previous experience working with clients with disabilities and their families is highly desirable but not essential.
