Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer 1 (SIMNJP)
Duration: 09/01/2025 to 08/31/2026
Location: Johnson City Tennessee 37604 Candidate must be able to work onsite.
Schedule: 40 hr work week. 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Description:
*Position is 100% remote but must be willing to travel to Johnson City TN. When hired the employee will need to travel Johnson City TN in order to be onboarded (PKI equipment). After this the employee may either work remote or in the office. Hotel airfare will be reimbursed for the first week of onboarding.
Position Overview
Siemens Industry Inc. located in Johnson city TN is looking to fill a contract position for a Firmware Engineer. You will participate as part of an international project team.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the design implementation and testing of both software and firmware solutions for the Siemens Industry product portfolio. You will work in an agile development environment in a team focused on delivering effective and robust solutions for our customers.
As part of this team you will be included in interactions with domestic and international stakeholders.
You must be proficient in problem solving and learning new technologies when needed.
Requirements
Education: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred
Hands on experience with C/C and a willingness to learn
Object-Oriented design methodology
Able to analyze technical problems and provide solutions
Demonstrate good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
