Power BI / Tableau Developer – 1
Location: Ahmedabad / Pune
Experience: 2–4 years
Type: Contractor
Budget: 6–10 LPA
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Power BI/Tableau Developer to build insightful dashboards and data visualizations for business users. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of BI tools data analytics and dashboard storytelling to support decision-making across teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs
- Connect to various data sources and perform data cleaning and transformation
- Design data models to ensure high performance and scalability of dashboards
- Implement row-level security and access controls on reports
- Work with engineering teams to optimize data pipelines for reporting
- Perform QA and troubleshoot issues related to BI tools and data accuracy
- Support version control and report deployment using CI/CD practices
Required Skills:
- 2–3 years of experience in data visualization using Power BI and/or Tableau
- Proficiency in DAX Power Query (M Language) and calculated measures
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server MySQL)
- Experience in designing intuitive and visually appealing dashboards
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI best practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for data sourcing
- Basic understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines for report deployment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with tools like Azure Synapse Snowflake or Redshift
- Knowledge of business domains like sales finance or operations analytics
- Experience with scheduling and automating reports
- Exposure to REST APIs and embedding dashboards into portals
- Microsoft Power BI or Tableau certifications (Associate/Analyst level)
Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related fields.
