JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Avionics Installer Multiple Openings
LOCATION: Savannah GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary
Summary:
-
Assist with the installation modification and testing of avionics and electrical systems.
-
This includes wire harness fabrication system terminations ring-outs and functional testing.
-
Assist in the removal and installation of avionics components and wiring per blueprints and engineering drawings
-
Support the fabrication and installation of electrical components fixtures and associated equipment
-
Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
-
Maintain required logs and records accurately
-
Adhere to safety procedures FOD control tool control and 5S standards
-
Care for shop tools and equipment properly
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
6 months of aviation electronics schooling or general electrical experience
-
Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly
-
Completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program
-
General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications
-
Must know how to use a multimeter
-
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Basic computer skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
