As a Sr. Python Automation Lead you will act as a Technical Lead in QA Automation. This role involves developing robust test automation solutions leading QA efforts for web/mobile applications resolving technical blockers and mentoring a team while ensuring seamless CI/CD integration and software quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities-
Lead the QA automation effort for assigned applications

Own the end-to-end QA automation lifecycle and drive test automation strategy

Design and develop automation test cases using Python and frameworks such as Pytest Unittest

Ensure robust UI test automation for web/mobile applications using Selenium/Appium
-
Analyze CI/CD test executions identify issues and deliver actionable insights
-
Mentor team members resolve technical blockers and drive continuous improvement
-
Identify automation gaps and proactively develop new solutions or tools

Work collaboratively with global development and QA teams including participation in US-based meetings (nightly calls)

Strong hands-on experience in Python programming with OOPs concepts

Expertise in UI automation using Selenium/Appium

Solid experience in test frameworks like Pytest or Unittest

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and version control (Git)

Exposure to QA methodologies bug tracking and test management tools

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and independently resolve issues

Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps pipelines

Strong problem-solving team collaboration and mentorship skills

BE / MCA / Masters in Computer Science or any equivalent degree
