Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry /Progressive Care Unit
Start Date: 8/17/2025
Duration: 26 weeks
Location: Springfield VT 05156
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM 12
Shift Notes: 12 hr Nights 36hr guarantee IPCU THIS NEEDS CONFIRMATION FOR A SUNDAY START
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday Coverage as Required
On-Call Requirements: TBD

** THIS IS AN ADAPTIVE ACUITY UNIT! ON OCCASION TRAVELERS WILL BE ASKED TO PROVIDE PCU CARE (3:1 ratio). THIS CARE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE AND MAY NOT BE REFUSED.
** NOTE: 48HRS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED.
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** For Holiday Coverage Travelers are REQUIRED to work TWO of the following:
Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after
New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after
** MINIMUM 3 months previous travel experience REQUIRED - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred)
** BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
Submission Requirements
- 2 years of CURRENT med surg/tele experience required
- PCU experience is Strongly REQUIRED
- DRIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- ICU experience strongly preferred
- TRAVELER MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO ANY INPATIENT UNIT WITHIN THEIR SCOPE OF PRACTICE
- MINIMUM 3 months previous travel experience REQUIRED - NON-NEGOTIABLE (more is preferred)
- Small critical access facility experience preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
- ANY/ALL RTO MUST BE INCLUDED IN PROFILE - ACCOMMODATIONS DURING ASSIGNMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
- Work History
