Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76502
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize care for pediatric patients and their families.
- Develop implement and continuously evaluate individualized care plans.
- Adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families through empathy professionalism and clear communication.
- Educate patients families staff and the community to support informed healthcare decisions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and external partners to coordinate care effectively.
- Safely delegate tasks and follow up to ensure completion.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address clinical challenges.
- Recognize limitations and maintain focus on safety effectiveness and efficiency in care delivery.
- Contribute to team goals mentor peers and engage in community service as part of professional practice.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing standards practices and procedures.
- Understanding of local and state nursing laws and guidelines.
- Familiarity with hospital policies and operational standards.
- Clinical understanding of health promotion disease management medications and side effects.
- Commitment to professional ethics and patient confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patients families and team members.
- Sound judgment and critical thinking for problem-solving.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office EMR systems payroll/scheduling software).
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Minimum 1 2 years of Pediatric Nursing experience required.
