Job Description
RN - Operating Room (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Clinical Judgment:
Conduct accurate assessments prioritize patient/family needs and manage individualized care plans. - Clinical Inquiry:
Evaluate nursing practices using evidence-based methods and support quality improvement efforts. - Caring Practices:
Ensure a safe compassionate environment while managing physical and emotional patient needs. - Response to Diversity:
Incorporate cultural spiritual and personal values into patient care. - Advocacy & Moral Agency:
Uphold patient dignity and rights facilitate communication and address ethical concerns.
- Strong clinical knowledge of nursing and patient care practices.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to critically think and solve problems under pressure.
- Ethical practice and respect for patient privacy and dignity.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or at least 2 years of equivalent clinical experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
- Licenses/Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Active license in Texas state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required at hire or within 30 days of employment.
