Job Title: Junior Varsity Volleyball CoachLocation: Pioneer Valley Regional School Northfield MAPioneer Valley Regional School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering skill development promoting sportsmanship building team camaraderie and creating a competitiveand supportive environment. This position requires strong leadership effective communicationskills and the ability to mentor student-athletes both on and off the Responsibilities:1. Responsible for planning organizing and implementing the teaching of fundamentals strategies rules and proper conditioning in the assigned sport.2. Issue and collect inventory and return equipment uniforms and other materials (e.g. team roster first aid kit coachs handbook) consistent with department guidelines.3. Responsible for adequate supervision of all students involved in the program and ensuring the safety of participants by inspecting facilities and equipment and being aware of environmental conditions.4. Responsible for supervision of student athletes in locker rooms and on buses.5. Instruct participants in safety procedures and in the need to report injuries to the coach and/or trainer immediately; implement appropriate procedures for handling injury situations; ensure the availability of a properly supplied first aid kit.6. Responsible for submitting a coachs game report within 24 hours of each for completing and submitting the following to the Athletic Director and the appropriate principal:- Accident reports- Disciplinary action- Parent complaints8. Responsible for attending a variety of sporting events and related activities including Wellness Programs as assigned.9. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics including but not limited to:- Eligibility list with grades and attendance at the start of each season- Collection of each form given at the beginning of each season from the players- Adhering to policies and procedures of the Coachs Handbook- Signing and returning the coachs evaluation at the completion of each seasonAnticipated salary ranges for this position are available
