Our Kindergarten in Mooroopna supports children to be curious confident and learn through play. We need the right person who can give our children an experience of quality early childhood education to develop their appetite for learning connect them with their community and support them in moving to the next stage phase of formal learning.

In this full-time* permanent position youll report directly to the Regional Manager and play a pivotal role in the North Victoria Leadership team. Youll lead the Mooroopna Kindergarten team overseeing daily operations motivating mentoring collaborating and supporting the team to develop implement and evaluate a high quality developmentally and culturally appropriate play and learning environment for children and achieving quality practice that aligns with the National Quality Standard.
* Part-time will also be considered if preferred (minimum of 25 hours per week).

You have experience in early childhood programs a toolkit of strategies and the ability to think on your feet which allows you to find solutions to complex situations. You consider yourself a team player you love partnerships and collaboration and have an all-hands-on-deck attitude.
This role requires:
- An approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification as approved by ACECQA (essential) and current VIT registration
- Knowledge and/or experience in the development implementation and evaluation of a high quality developmentally appropriate education and care program
- Knowledge and/or experience in the application of approved learning frameworks in particular the Early Years Learning Framework
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including supervising and providing direction and staff support
