Job Description
- To carry out grounds maintenance duties including mowing weeding and general upkeep of outdoor areas around properties. The role ensures that communal and external spaces are maintained to a high standard contributing to a pleasant and safe environment for residents.
- Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns weeding flower beds and trimming hedges.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of outdoor communal areas.
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct visual inspections of grounds and report any issues or hazards.
- Working Hours: 45 hours per week.
- Mobile grounds maintenance operative reporting to Merstone Depot PO30 3DA - day starts and finishes here
- The role requires a basic DBS.
- Full UK driving licence (required for mobile role).
Requirements
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar outdoor manual role
- Familiarity with operating lawn mowers strimmers and other gardening tools
- Basic knowledge of horticulture or grounds maintenance practices (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
