You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUW Madison Department of Educational Psychology is seeking candidates to teach graduate level courses in school psychology and learning sciences. Courses will provide instruction on cognitive and emotional foundations of behavior and will focus on neuroscience foundational concepts relevant to clinical mental health practice. Courses are part of the School Psychology graduate program in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Courses are graduate-level that cover issues related to training school psychology students in the PhD program.
Position is a part-time position with a 20% - 40% FTE. Position may fluctuate depending on instructional need within the department. These course are typically taught during the fall semester.
Educational Psychology
$70000 minimum - commensurate with qualifications and experience
1. Current knowledge and background in the relevant discipline including focus on neuroscience foundational concepts and cognitive and emotional foundations of behavior.
2. Prior teaching experience in a graduate program
3. Ability to respond to the needs of learners from a variety of educational backgrounds and learning styles
4. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent written communication skills
6. Good organizational skills and timeliness in responding to student inquiries
1. Experience in using Canvas learning management system
PhD required in school psychology clinical psychology or a related field
