We are seeking a Sr. Scientific Communications Specialist who is an essential member of the U.S. Professional & Veterinary Affairs
(USPVA) team. The veterinarian in this position is responsible for contributing to and executing Key Thought Leader (KTL) strategy that elevates Hills scientific leadership resulting in veterinary endorsement and active recommendation of Hills products. They will build influential peer-to-peer relationships with veterinary specialists particularly in nutrition and internal medicine and help to develop future nutrition specialists. They will serve as a scientific and technical expert and speaker for strategic customer events and with Hills US
internal teams.
This position plays an integral role in ensuring veterinary practitioners and specialists have and understandcurrent relevant information about Hills products and initiatives so that Hills is recognized as a partner ofchoice among Key Thought Leaders and as a scientific and innovative leader in the veterinary profession. Theindividual in this position will have a very influential role as a scientific and subject matter expert both internallyand externally. This is a field role based out of a home office in any US location that is near a major airport hub.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $110000.00 - $145000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
