Job Description
Senior IT Applications Auditor
Exciting contract opportunity in the insurance industry for an experienced IT Applications Auditor. This hybrid Toronto-based role focuses on complex audit engagements using Archer ServiceNow SQL and Tableau. Ideal for professionals with strong risk assessment skills and IT application expertise in a collaborative environment.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $50-54 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $60-64 per hour.
5-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Hybrid work: in-office 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities:
Assist in planning executing and reporting audit work for IT applications.
Lead multiple complex high-profile audit engagements.
Collaborate with business auditors to understand and evaluate controls enabled by IT systems including data quality assurance.
Identify opportunities to leverage analytics during audits.
Ensure thorough coverage and adherence to auditing principles within allotted timelines and budgets.
Evaluate how applications support core business processes.
What you will need to succeed:
5 years of relevant experience in internal audit or IT application auditing.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Strong understanding of complex business processes risks and controls.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Exceptional communication skills including leading meetings and presenting findings.
Proactive detail-oriented and committed to quality and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Industry experience in financial services or Big 4 consulting is preferred.
Proficiency with the following tools: Archer ServiceNow SQL Tableau.
