About the Role

As our Rural Products Sales Manager you will lead a retail team focused on delivering tailored merchandise solutions and driving sales growth across the Goulburn Valley/Shepparton region. With a strong emphasis on business development stakeholder engagement and aligning strategy with opportunity youll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide practical seasonally relevant solutions.

This is a hands-on leadership role where youll oversee day-to-day retail operations analyse sales trends and contribute to long-term business growth. Youll report directly to senior and warehouse management and play a key role in aligning sales strategy with both established and emerging markets.

Responsibilities

As a Rural Products Sales Manager you will:

  • Lead develop and support a retail sales team to deliver on business and customer goals
  • Drive sales and identify new business opportunities across rural merchandise categories
  • Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with local producers and agribusiness clients
  • Analyse seasonal trends and ensure product availability aligns with local needs
  • Manage stock merchandising and compliance with safety and handling standards
  • Oversee retail operations to ensure a high-performing customer-focused environment

About You

To succeed at AIRR you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in retail management and rural merchandise operations
  • A strong background in business development and stakeholder relationship management
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire coach and lead a team
  • Solid understanding of rural products including animal health and crop protection
  • The ability to interpret sales data and trends to inform localised strategies
  • A current drivers licence (essential) and forklift licence (desirable)
