of Job Duties:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Program Manager to join our dynamic team supporting a high-impact federally funded program. The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Director to oversee the successful execution of program activities ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership capabilities strong organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of program management.
Program Oversight: Assist the Program Director in the overall management and administration of the Arkansas APEX Accelerator program ensuring that objectives timelines and budgets are met.
Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders including federal state and local government agencies prime contractors economic development agencies small business support organizations and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Project Management: Support the planning execution and monitoring of the program. Develop and manage project plans schedules and resource allocations.
Compliance: Ensure all program activities comply with federal and state regulations policies and procedures. Monitor compliance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular program status reports including progress updates financial reports and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues affecting the program and develop strategies for mitigation. Implement risk management plans and monitor their effectiveness.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of program budgets. Monitor expenditures track financial performance and ensure cost control.
Team Leadership: Support and mentor program staff. Facilitate team meetings resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative work environment.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation related to program activities including contracts reports and correspondence.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in business administration public administration project management or a related field plus 3 years of relevant professional experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications preferred.

- Computer Skills: Proficiency with computer and online communications embracing new technology learning new programs quickly and leveraging technology to enhance productivity.
