Job Description
The Role:
Dash Financial Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Java Developer in Chicago IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain high-quality Java applications. Build and manage compliance reporting systems with a focus on FINRA CAT using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. Implement technical solutions based on project specifications. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance. Write unit tests and integration tests to validate functionality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Document development processes code changes and application features. Leverage continuous integration practices to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve software quality.
- Assist in the deployment of applications and monitor performance post-launch.
Required Skills Experience and Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Security or a related field followed by 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a software engineer/ developer related occupation.
Salary Range:
The estimated salary range is $149000 - $155000. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and skills.
