Bachelors Degree in Engineering plus six years related experience and registered with Engineers Nova Scotia as Licensed to Practice (or with an Engineering Association in another Canadian jurisdiction with the ability to transfer their registration to Nova Scotia).

The successful candidate must have related experience in one or more of the following areas: water management systems waste management systems associated pollution abatement and control equipment hydrology and hydraulic structures. A working knowledge of industrial and construction processes soil industrial and municipal waste management systems hydrology geology toxicology biology laboratory practices chemistry including chemicals and their hazards is an asset. Knowledge of departmental legislation regulations standards; as well as demonstrated ability to interpret regulations policies and analytical reports is an asset.

Strong communication (both oral and written) interpersonal leadership project management and sound judgment skills are essential. Must have a valid drivers license.

Pay Grade: PR 18

Salary Range: $3231.58- $3800.42Bi-Weekly
