The Role
Develops and implements communications plans and delivery for the group head of Global Human Resources (GHR) and key enterprise HR initiatives ensuring business strategies plans and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
- This role includes the development and execution of internal and external communications plans writing and editing of key communications pieces including CHRO communications and providing strategic communications advice to business leaders.
- Supports with thought leadership opportunities for the CHRO both internally and externally.
- Ideates produces and manages enterprise-wide communications pieces including: announcements press releases online content videos Town Halls
- Oversees the development and execution of key global and GHR communications including newsletters and supports with issues management and the development of key messaging for internal and external purposes
- Understands how the Banks culture of inclusion high performance and customer focus should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Champions a high performing environment and implements a people strategy that attracts retains develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicates vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team.

- The incumbent is required to keep current on communication trends and best practices and will be a self-starter who proactively identifies communications opportunities.
- The incumbent requires a combination of focus and flexibility and can work independently and take direction well.
- The incumbent must be diplomatic flexible with a positive mature attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure and to deliver under tight timelines.
- Must also be proactive and creative with strong proven ability to plan and manage competing priorities as well as ability to recognize and appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Minimum undergraduate university degree in English Communications Journalism Business Marketing or a related field. A post-graduate certificate in Public Relations is an asset.
- Superior verbal and written English communication skills including demonstrable creativity accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Working Conditions/Other:
- Highly mobile environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
- Temp full-time: 18 Month Contract
