About the role
Our long day care centre is uniquelyco-located with Early Years Place and sits within broader school grounds of the Acacia Ridge State School. We are an 80 place service with a strong relationship with the broader community. We are seeking a passionate and experienced 2IC / Educational Leader. This rare opportunity is ideal for an inspiring leader ready to shape pedagogy mentor educators and support operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an integrated service model and is passionate about inclusive trauma-informed and culturally responsive early education.
Duties
Guiding reflective practice inclusive curriculum design and high-quality learning aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
Supporting the Team Leader with operations compliance enrolments family engagement and acting as Responsible Person when required.
Assist the Team Leader with daily operations including staffing WHS compliance enrolments and family engagement.
Step into the Responsible Person role during the Team Leaders absence maintaining compliance and quality.
Work collaboratively with children families and educators to monitor and evaluate curriculum using a clear pedagogical framework.

Skills and Requirements
A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care
Solid leadership experience includingprogramming or service operations
Strong understanding of EYLF NQS ACECQA Strategic Inclusion Plans and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines
Skilled in mentoring teams fostering reflective practice and inclusive pedagogy
Confidence usingStorypark Xap or similar digital platforms
Cultural competence and experience working with CALD and trauma-impacted communities
Ability to build strong partnerships with families health professionals schools and support services
