Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

HYMPAVZI a priority brand and growth driver for Specialty Care and Pfizer is a first-in-class novel anti-TFPI therapy that received approval in October 2024 for the treatment of Hemophilia A and B patients 12 years and older without inhibitors. The US HYMPAVZI HCP Team Lead is a crucial leadership role that will guide the strategic direction and vision for the HCP team in the critical first year of launch while preparing for additional indication launches expected in 2026. This leader will be responsible for managing a current team of 6 talented colleagues (4 full-time 2 rotationals) to drive HCP education and adoption and ultimately positively impact the lives of people living with hemophilia.

The ideal candidate will have significant and recent US marketing expertise and will have led the advancement of key brand imperatives to maximize brand value. This colleague should also have strong business acumen the ability to expertly uncover insights and lead a team to action against and be driven by a belief that measuring impact is foundational to progress. Launch and immediate post-launch experience is preferred in addition to people management (formal or informal).

This role reports to the US HYMPAVZI Brand Lead and will partner closely with several critical internal Pfizer teams/colleagues including but not limited to the Hemophilia Specialty Manager (HSM) Field Force GCA / IIS Media Medical Legal Regulatory and external vendors/agency partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for setting HCP core strategy and vision in critical early post-launch period
  • Own the overall HCP stakeholder strategy including strategic brand positioning target audience identification segmentation and messaging brand strategic imperatives brand plan development and execution for Hympavzi
  • Create own and manage all opportunities within HCP sphere of influence across field force data dissemination real-world experience sharing congress and omnichannel
  • Lead critical peer-to-peer workstream including strategy evolution brand KOL engagements and overseeing team execution
  • Manage a team of 6 talented HCP marketing colleagues (4 full-time 2 rotationals) and foster team professional development perpetuating team culture of excellence and joy
  • Co-Lead the HCP BAT workstream responsible for establishing impactful KPIs tracking performance across all HCP workstreams and immediately implementing solutions to mitigate performance gaps
  • Evolve and amplify HCP campaign to achieve brand goals and accelerate market-uptake
  • Partner closely with customer-facing HSM Field Force to ensure aligned robust synergy to deliver against brand strategy
  • Responsible for managing and partnering with AOR & Med-Ed agency to effectively meet business needs and troubleshoot challenges collaboratively and manage budget to maximize ROI
  • Prepare for and defend against competitive shifts in strategy and new entrants into the category
  • Partner with other customer group leads & XF colleagues to prepare for potential new indication launches in 2026
  • Act as key contributor presenter and oversee all HCP teams efforts for internal brand strategic planning customer facing colleague plan of action (POA) meetings including meeting preparation agendas and story line for most effective communications and training
  • As a member of the HYMPAVZI leadership team responsible for championing team direction development and wellness and fostering Specialty Care and US Commercials strategic imperatives of Empowering Our People Unlocking Potential and Maximizing Performance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 years of experience in Marketing and consulting
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred
  • Ability to understand customer needs extract key insights and translate these into meaningful strategies and in-market results
  • Strong mastery of HCP marketing; Proven track record in developing executing and measuring complex marketing programs that drive performance
  • Launch or post-launch experience preferred
  • Exceptional people management skills and track record of attracting and developing talent
  • Intuitive business acumen and expertise with business planning
  • Demonstrated initiative strong problem solving decision making and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and influence a cross functional team
  • Track record of highly successful partnerships with external agencies; Ability to work with and manage external stakeholders organizations and societies as part of cross functional PFE team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver results on multiple complex competing projects in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong written verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively both one-on-one and in groups
  • Experience and fluency representing opportunities and brand plans to senior leadership
  • Track record of innovation leadership and significant contribution to the growth of brands
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $182000.00 to $303300.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
