Job Description
An exciting Hybrid opportunity is available for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a small R&D team based in Southampton Hampshire.
You will be working on new R&D products and will be a key member of the development teamm based in both Southampton Hampshire and Newport Isle of Wight. You will beworking on the design of exciting products for a wide range of applications in the defence sector.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Take customer requirements and work with the wider team to establish how to develop new products
- Design custom electronic boards verify and test
- Liaise with customers to assist with integration and problem resolution
Key skills/experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:
- Proven significant experience in electronics design analogue digital and PCB design
- Board design including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers memory devices programmable logic power supplies wireless communications
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to gain exposure to design for a variety of industry sectors. This job is based in Southampton Hampshire and is hybrid offering flexible working.
