Administrative Assistant IIIJob Duties:
The position provides administrative and operational support for graduate student services which span both Academic Affairs and Enrollment and Quality areas. It requires strong communication skills the ability to manage multiple tasks and a high level of discretion. The position operates with minimal supervision utilizes a variety of technology systems and involves extensive collaboration with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include student-focused customer service and contributions to continuous improvement efforts related to graduate operations. The normal work schedule for this position is 8:00am 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develops implements and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
- Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups provides organizational information via phone in person and through other communication mediums
- Prepares and audits complex records edits documents and reviews work done by others
- Develops sends receives copies and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings conferences travel and work unit operations

UW-Stout has over 20 accredited masters educational specialist and educational doctorate programs. We offer online and distance course delivery options.
Graduate Studies a unit of the division of Academic Affairs provides oversight for graduate education in the university. Graduate Studies administers graduate admissions graduate assistantships records policies and other procedures relating to graduate students. Graduate Studies includes in addition to its administrative personnel the Graduate Office which provides services to graduate students and program directors.
Compensation:
Minimum starting salary of $19.23/hour commensurate with qualifications and experience. A six-month probationary period is required. Required Qualifications:
Excellent project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word Excel Teams Outlook and PowerPoint)
Experience in a professional assistant or related role
Bachelors degree in business or related field
