Post Context/Post Summary
Principal Duties
1. Analyse and executes the direction from the Branch Head.
2. Support NATO Operations and Exercises from DCIS Readiness Evaluation and LL perspective.
3. Plan and conduct the DCIS capabilities evaluations and other required analysis.
4. Contribute to the development of concepts and directives for DCIS Readiness.
5. Co-ordinate and draft DCIS Readiness exercises/events related Warning Orders Fragmentation Orders and Tasking Orders and hand them over to DJ3 for further approval and release.
6. Prepare analysis briefings and reports as directed.
7. Develop and execute specific NATO CIS Group DCIS Readiness Evaluation/Certification programmes.
8. Act as NATO CIS Group deputy to Officer Conducting the Exercise (OCE).
9. Liaise with ACO requesting commands NCI Agency representatives in coordination of DCIS support to exercises and/or operations.
10. Participate in relevant NATO Evaluation/Certification conferences and workshops.
11. Maintain close day-to-day liaison with other NATO CIS Group Divisions and DCIS units.
12. Contribute to the dissemination of LL in to the execution of current and preparation of the future operations/exercises.
13. Advise NATO CIS Group staff in shortfalls in support of operations and exercises.
Special Requirements and Additional Duties
The incumbent may be required to perform a similar range of duties elsewhere within the organisation at the same grade without there being any change to the contract. This a mandatory deployment post. The incumbent may be required to undertake deployments in support of military operations and exercises and/or TDY assignments both within and outside NATOs boundaries. For NATO International Civilian Staff acceptance of an employment contract linked to this post constitutes agreement to deploy in excess of 30 days if required.

REMARKS:
Duration of contract: Serving staff members will be offered a contract according to the NATO Civilian Personnel Regulations (NCPR). Newly recruited staff will be offered a definite duration contract of three years normally followed by an indefinite duration contract.
WHAT WE OFFER
-38 hours per week schedule;
-2.5 paid days of leave per month worked;
-Fulfilling working atmosphere in an international and military community;
-Contract period: until 31/12/2025 with a possibility of extension.
-Salary: the remuneration of temporary personnel will be specified in their contracts. It is exempt from taxation in the Host Nation;
-Benefits package: temporary personnel are covered by a benefits package which consists of an additional sum of 12% of basic salary for pension purposes basic medical and accident insurance provided under the NATO Group insurance contract (death and invalidity). The cost for insurance amounts to 2.57% of basic salary (2/3 payable by the Organisation and 1/3 payable by staff);
-For staff eligible under NATO rules there is also a dependent child allowance and coverage for dependent children for medical benefits.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
