Schedule:This is an in-person position Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Wage Range:$21.40 - $28.90 non-exempt

Position Overview:
This position plays a crucial role on the Revenue Cycle team by analyzing and improving revenue cycle processes. The primary function is to monitor analyze distribute and communicate revenue data from various sources to meet reporting requirements. This includes using technical tools such as Power BI to build and maintain reporting solutions for the third-party revenue and other initiatives that require a healthcare billing background. The Revenue Cycle Analyst will be pivotal in implementing strategies to increase revenue and report on financial metrics.
What you will do:
Develops and maintains data collection reporting and analysis systems revolving around the revenue cycle.
Develops maintains and produces statistical and analytical reports and/or graphics for the purpose of data interpretation on a weekly monthly or annual basis
Produces and distributes regularly scheduled reports to various levels in the organization.
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle Director Grant Finance Director and co-workers in design and preparation of data presentations.
Makes sure that all reports are accurate and error free by testing researching and validating data in source systems.
Works with Revenue Cycle Director to identify deficiencies and problems with existing data and develops and coordinates plans to resolve
Communicates effectively and demonstrates good interpersonal and professional skills when interacting with others throughout NARA NW.
Must be flexible and adapt to changing work assignments.
Works collaboratively and maintains professional boundaries with clients other NARA staff team members and always treats everyone with respect and dignity.
Conducts specialized queries and formulates spreadsheets to support and
facilitate data analysis.
Provides accurate information to co-workers and other customers when requested in order to complete the data analysis process.
Identifies data quality issues in clinical and billing systems and works with clinical and administrative guidance to implement workflows that provide clean data for reports.
May be required to attend group or individual meetings with physicians or with administration.
We would like to hear from people that have:
Bachelors degree in data management business administration healthcare administration or informatics or the equivalent combination of classroom and/or job-related experience required.
Experience using and/or reporting from Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Systems.
Two or more years prior or current experience with insurance coding billing or accounts receivable processes in a medical clinic or allied medical entity required.
Working knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and private billing and reimbursement processes.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to conduct and deliver complex data reports
Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; high degree of accuracy; flexibility ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients the community and other staff members.
Work collaboratively with clients other NARA NW staff team members and to treat everyone with respect and dignity at all times.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus.
Must pass a pre-employment or for cause drug tests.
Must pass criminal background and DMV checks.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community
Experience working in or with Federally Qualified Health Centers preferred.

Benefits: Employees working 20 hours or more are eligible for benefits. Benefits are effective from the 1st of the month following the date of hire.
