Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Work with school faculty and staff students parents and community to plan implement evaluate a comprehensive development guidance and counseling program at school assigned. Counsel students to fully develop each students academic career personal and social abilities and address the needs of special populations students.
Education/Certification:
Mastersdegree in guidance counseling
Valid Texas Counseling Certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Experience:
Three years successful classroom teaching experience
