Speech Language Pathologist - $10000 Sign-On Bonus
37.5 hours per week with some flexibility..
Rome Health is rapidly expanding and we have a need to fill a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for our outpatient therapy clinic at Chestnut Commons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients levels of speech or language difficulty through communication and standardized tests.
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients in articulating sounds and improving voice quality.
- Work with patients to improve reading and writing skills.
- Develop and implement exercises to strengthen the muscles used in swallowing.
- Counsel patients and families on coping mechanisms for communication disorders.
- Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations diagnoses treatment progress and changes in treatment plans.
- Complete final evaluations when patients finish therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. (Required)
Experience:
Completion of a degree program associated with Speech-Language Pathology is required.
Licenses and Certifications:
New York State license for Speech-Language Pathology.
Must have their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
