Job Summary:
Jay Hatfield Chevrolet of Vinita is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive F&I Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role with a base salary plus commission structure. As an F&I Manager you will be responsible for assisting our customers in the financing and insurance processes of purchasing a new or used vehicle. This individual contributor role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting and finance principles in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting customers in the financing and insurance processes of purchasing a vehicle
- Collect and verify customer information including credit and financial histories
- Present and explain financing and insurance options to customers including extended warranties gap insurance and other add-ons
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and other financial institutions
- Ensure all financing and insurance paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
- Stay up-to-date on automotive financing and insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process for customers
- Act as a liaison between customers sales and financial institutions to resolve any issues or concerns
- Assist with other accounting and finance duties as needed by the dealership
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an F&I or Sales Manager in the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of financing and insurance processes in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in accounting and finance principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening
