Job Description

Job Title: CMMS Coordinator

Job Summary:

The CMMS Coordinator (Computerized Maintenance Management System Coordinator) is responsible for managing and maintaining a companys maintenance management software system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that maintenance activities are properly scheduled tracked and documented to improve equipment reliability reduce downtime and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMMS Administration:Maintain and update the CMMS database including equipment records preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
  • Work Order Management:Create assign track and close out work orders; ensure technicians input accurate and timely data.
  • Reporting:Generate and analyze maintenance KPIs and reports for performance tracking compliance and planning.
  • Training & Support:Train maintenance staff and users on CMMS procedures and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance maintenance processes using CMMS capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in administration within the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of maintenance operations and asset management. Proficiency with CMMS platforms (like SAP PM Maximo eMaint Fiix etc.) Data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Analytical and reporting skills (Excel Power BI etc.) Communication and interpersonal skills to work with technicians and management.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
