Come and talk to us about a different out why we are a different Job Details:Fall 2025 - 11/24/2025This position is to support students overall well-being and academic success by addressing social emotional and behavioral Description:The Biddeford Primary School serves grades PreK - expect staff and students to embrace our three key pillars of learning: discovery educating the whole child and supporting them with a positive culture and the Biddeford School Departments Three Pillars of Commitment to Students Job Duties:The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:Provide mental health services to students within the school setting such as individual and group sessions and consultations with teachers and other students and families to promote academic social and emotional and communicate about services with families and outside providers (such as targeted case managers therapists probation officers Department of Health and Human Services police crisis workers and staff from other districts).Complete required Special Education documentation treatment notes and Individualized Educational Program meetings and team meetings as Job DescriptionCertification/License:Current State of Maine Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Master Social Worker-Conditional Clinical (LMSW-CC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Conditional license (LCPC-c)Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of EducationEducation:Completion of a masters level program in social work or clinical :Experience in clinical treatment of children and skills in communicating and collaborating with of education policies and the RTI and Work in the Biddeford Maine CommunityLocated along the Atlantic coastline with miles of beachesViews of the Saco River to its westLess than 20 minutes south of the Greater Portland AreaIt is less than two hours north of to a growing population of diverse residentsPicturesque downtownMaines youngest city with a median age of 29 in the historic downtownThriving economyMany recreational opportunities including fishing hiking biking public parks and kayakingEqual OpportunityThe School Department is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
