Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 88.92 - 102.60
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in the classroom Education World is currently recruiting for confident and caring TAs to support pupils and teachers in primary and secondary schools across the North East.

Role Overview:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant you will support the class teacher with lesson delivery work with small groups and individual pupils and contribute to creating a calm and productive learning environment.

- Support teaching and learning in the classroom across a range of subjects
- Provide targeted support to pupils who may need additional help
- Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom organisation
- Help manage pupil behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to meet individual pupil needs
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a classroom setting (voluntary or paid)
- A calm patient and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and supporting childrens development
