What is the Opportunity
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for internal projects that focuses on process reengineering and automation. The successful candidate will be adept at supporting the business through changes associated with agreed upon solutions. Strong communication and a team player mindset are essential as well as willingness to work closely with others and take on other Senior Business Analyst responsibilities. This position is offered as an 18 month contract.
What Youll Do Here:
- Execute assignments based on project management best practices and methodologies (PMBOK).
- Identify and implement processes improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness using technology strategy and analytics.
- Facilitate business process reengineering workshops to streamline and improve business processes and recommending future stateprocesses.
- Organize task mining initiatives and/or process walkthrough sessions to capture and document current process flows.
- Meticulously gather document and analyze business requirements and propose potential solutions through user interviews group discussions and other means.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders during requirements and testing development.
- Create new or improve existing documentation such as procedures workflows and user guides and recommend controls by identifying issues.
- Assess potential process automation candidates with stakeholders and provide summary documentation outlining the results of these assessments.
- Applysound analysis and critical thinking to evaluate ideas decisionsandoutcomes offering recommendations to stakeholders.
- Present findings in a clear and visually engaging format for stakeholders.
- Engage appropriate teams throughout project to ensure adherence to technical standards and provide recommendations on the practical application oftechnology.
- Deliver regular updates to project managers business stakeholders and leadership to manage expectations and ensure transparency.
- Support change management plan in collaboration with the Business Readiness team.
- Provide training guidance and support to the business associated with agreed uponchanges.
- Assist with various operational issues including troubleshooting production support issues as well as gathering and documenting change request details.
- Provide technical direction and problem-solving assistance to othercolleagues.
What You Bring to theTeam:
- 3-5 years or more in a Business Analystrole.
- CBAP Certification.
- Construction industry experience is anasset.
- Functional experience in one or more SAPmodules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in testing documentation user training or project management related to the application development life cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment.
- Strong degree of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Excellent communication skills to act as communicatorsfacilitators andmediators.
