Our challenge
We are looking for a great JavaScript developer candidate is proficient with . Candidates primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known workflows (such as Flux or Redux). Candidate will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken NJ is$110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Developing new user-facing features using .
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of and its core principles.
- Experience with popular workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. ).
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in Financial or Investment Banking domain.
