Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Certified Value Engineer to join our team in the North East United States. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for applying value engineering methodologies to optimize project costs improve functionality and enhance overall value for our clients.
- Conduct value engineering studies and workshops for various projects
- Analyze project designs specifications and costs to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and present value engineering proposals to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement value engineering recommendations
- Utilize advanced problem-solving techniques to address complex engineering challenges
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on value engineering findings and outcomes
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in value engineering
- Mentor and train team members on value engineering principles and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Qualifications :
- Certified Value Specialist (CVS) accreditation from SAVE International (required)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience (USACE experience highly preferred)
- Proven experience in value engineering projects across various industries
- Strong knowledge of value engineering principles methodologies and best practices
- Expertise in cost analysis project management and problem-solving
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for value engineering and project management
- Experience in industries such as construction manufacturing or related fields
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Additional Information :
Salary: Salary range is dependent on scope of work location of project as well as level of experience. This range could fall anywhere between: $95 - $101k
