Budget Planner II

Job Duties:

The Department of Radiology offers a unique opportunity for a Budget Planner IIwho will play a key role in developing managing and refining complex budget models including both short- and long-term financial forecasts. This position will provide critical support for strategic decision-making by delivering in-depth financial analysis and actionable recommendations. A primary focus of the role will be designing and maintaining systems to effectively track and manage physician compensation. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing and presenting detailed financial reports that align with institutional policies and regulatory requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of budgeting processes and financial planning frameworks.

  • This is a 100% full-time position.

  • The work schedule is flexible and will be determined at the time of hire.

  • While most work will be performed remotely some tasks may require in person work at a designated campus location.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations institutional policies and unit objectives
  • Develops and monitors complex budgets and short and long-term budgetary projections
  • Serves as a point of contact for staff providing budgetary information and guidance answering questions and responding to inquiries
  • Conducts program and budget research analyzes data and prepares complex financial reports in accordance with established procedures and regulations
  • Provides guidance and direction to other analysts on budgetary analysis and reporting activities
  • Analyzes identifies and makes recommendations for cost savings and funding options by conducting research on diverse institutional data

Compensation:

The minimum starting salary for this position is $89000 annually but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
