Overview:
We are hiring a skilled IT Project Manager to coordinate project timelines field implementation readiness and cross-team alignment for a federal government network modernization effort. You will support the Program Manager and lead day-to-day execution activities across multiple workstreams.
Essential Functions:
- Support development and tracking of the IMS and project milestones to be updated at least weekly
- Support execution of all contract deliverables (e.g. Monthly Status Reports IMS Weekly Activity Reports)
- Coordinate site access installation timelines and field readiness activities
- Facilitate planning meetings and assist in deliverables preparation
- Support execution of the Task Order Management Plan and Logistics Plan
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years of IT project management experience in federal government contracting
- PMP certification ITIL Foundations certification DoD 8140 certification or equivalent preferred
- Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible preferred Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Adjudicated orcapableofreciprocal acceptance by DIA)
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT implementation projects
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge in planning directing and managing projects/operations
- Experience in procurement of IT hardware
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication including a bias for proactive communication
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management a collaborative mindset with cross-functional teamwork skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize competing demands
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- Comfortable with digital collaboration tools (e.g. Teams SharePoint Zoom)
- Experience with project/task management platforms (e.g. Asana Jira Monday Microsoft Project)
Physical Requirements:
The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however some travel to government or partner sites may be required. The position may require:
- Visual acuity to view computer screens read technical documents and perform data analysis
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard mouse and other office equipment
- Occasional lifting or carrying of equipment boxes or documents (typically under 25 lbs)
- Ability to hear and speak clearly in virtual and in-person meetings
