The Manager Patient Safety & Quality Improvement is responsible for Quality Improvement (QI) Infection Prevention (IP) and Patient safety at a single entity and additionally is involved in system-level IP QI and patient safety activities. This position provides feedback support and education to both providers and clinical unit staff with the primary goal of achieving accountability and compliance with all metrics. Works in conjunction with the Stroke Program Coordinator. Responsible for effectively facilitating performance improvement teams. Participate in Joint Commission and other regulatory compliance related activities and/or other organization wide projects. The position requires collaboration with appropriate staff disciplines and departments in developing and overseeing the implementation of plans of corrective action. Innovation is required to improve work procedures and methods which result in consistent application of practices related to compliance with the clinical quality and safety data. The duties of this position affect direct patient care through the provision of services which enable others to provide direct care. Communication is required internally and externally to persuade or gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas and processes. Salary Range: Minimum 46.57/hour - Maximum 72.18/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
