Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities and personnel within the Reconstruction Department (Project Managers Coordinators Subcontractors)
- Provide leadership coaching and accountability to project management staff
- Perform all initial site inspections and produce detailed accurate estimates using Xactimate or comparable software
- Work closely with insurance adjusters property owners and internal teams to scope sell and manage reconstruction jobs
- Plan schedule and resource projects to ensure timely on-budget completion
- Implement and improve departmental processes and KPIs for quality timeliness and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors vendors and suppliers
- Review and approve project budgets contracts change orders and billing
- Monitor project progress through site visits and status meetings
- Ensure compliance with SERVPRO standards insurance requirements safety guidelines and regulatory codes
- Collaborate with ownership and senior management to support growth and operational goals
- 5 years of experience in residential/commercial reconstruction management
- 3 years of experience leading construction project teams
- Advanced proficiency in Xactimate estimating software (Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Strong background in insurance restoration/reconstruction work
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building codes regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to manage budgets scheduling subcontractor negotiations and project profitability
- High-level organizational leadership and communication skills
- IICRC certifications (WRT ASD) or equivalent industry credentials are a plus
- Valid drivers license with a clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
