Salary

The salary range for this position is CAD $49.20/Hr. - CAD $63.47/Hr.

Summary

Crosstown Clinic is now accepting applications for a permanent full-time nurse to join their harm reduction-driven team. Crosstown is the first clinic in North America to offer medical-grade heroin (diacetylmorphine) and the legal analgesic hydromorphone within a supervised clinical setting to chronic substance use patients supported by an on-site pharmacy and an interdisciplinary care team composed of doctors nurses social workers and substance-use disorder counsellors. We also offer life-skills counselling housing referrals and direction to legal assistance.

Reporting to the Operations Leader the Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) coordinates the day to day operations of a designated nursing unit and supervises staff acting as a clinical resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members in the provision of direct care to patients/residents as well as assisting the Operations Leader in assessing clinical development needs/interests of staff and with orientation and educational programs. Finally the CNL assists in the promotion of research and quality improvement initiatives within the program team.
Please note shifts for this position will be primarily 07:00-15:00 with weekends and stats off.
