Are you looking for an opportunity to work for a dynamic growing organization We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and contribute to the exciting growth at the Descartes Systems Group Inc. This position is a replacement opportunity offering a chance to step into a key role and make an immediate impact. Working as part of a fast-paced experienced team you will be responsible for processing shipment and trip information received from customers. We are seeking a reliable adaptable individual with a proven record of delivering results under pressure who will thrive as both a team player and as an individual contributor.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
Monitor work queue and organize workload to facilitate the timely submission of data to Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
Review shipment documentation to identify or interpret data to be entered into Descartes proprietary software application.
Monitor work queue to ensure shipment acceptance by regulatory authorities.
Interact with customers by phone or email to resolve issues and/or questions that arise.
Monitor work queue and contact customs brokers based on the shipments estimated time of arrival (ETA) at the border.
Handle other work assignments in other related Descartes departments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Customs-related education or training CCS qualification would be an asset
Ability to perform shift work that includes both Saturdays and Sundays and rotate between morning evening and overnight shifts and Statutory Holidays
Computer literacy and strong skills in Word Excel and E-mail (Microsoft Outlook preferred).
Good analytical clerical and organization skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team player.
Willingness to work a limited amount of overtime.

Location: This is a remote opportunity open to individuals who are legally entitled to work in Canada. Please note that Descartes does not provide immigration sponsorship; candidates must have a valid work authorization at the time of application and for the duration of employment.

Salary Range: $35000 to $40000 CAD Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation or currency.
