Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Shuttle Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation services for senior citizens. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments errands and activities in a comfortable and secure manner. This position requires a commitment to safety excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with elderly individuals. Opportunities for cross-training in dispatch scheduling and phone operations are available for motivated individuals.
Responsibilities:
Safelyoperatecompany vehicles to transport senior residents to various destinations including medical appointments shopping centers recreational activities and other locations as needed.
Assistpassengers with boarding and alighting from the vehicle ensuring their safety and comfort. This may includeassistingwith walkers wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle ensuring it is in good workingorderand reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer servicedemonstratingpatience empathy and respecttowardsall passengers.
Maintainaccuraterecords of trips mileage and passenger information.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Assistwith other duties as assigned such as light vehicle maintenance or cleaning.
Learn and perform dispatch scheduling and phone duties as needed.
Requirements
Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability toassistpassengers with mobility devices.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
