Job Description
Bishop Ireton High School is seeking a full-timeEnglishteacher for the 2025-2026 school year at our campus in Alexandria Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach aliterature-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on developing writing and research skills.
Candidates will:
- demonstrateprofessionalism in a collaborative environment.
- havestrong communication skills.
- possessa bachelors degreein English; masters degree preferred.
- possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
- possess required citizenship residency or work visa
- promote the Catholic mission of the school
