Talent Acquisition Partner - Dulux Decorator Centres UK.
Location- Felling Gateshead. Tyne & Wear.
Were on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Partner (Dulux Decorator Centre) to drive hiring across our UK store network. From in-store superstars to store managers youll be the go-to expert for finding the right people to represent AkzoNobel in our Dulux Decorator Centre store locations.
This year marks a monumental milestone for Dulux Decorator Centre as it proudly celebrates its 130th anniversary. For over a century Dulux Decorator Centre has been partnering with tradespeople across the country providing unwavering support and expertise.
Youll manage the full recruitment journey from engaging adverts and smart sourcing to fast friendly hiring all while making sure every hire strengthens our customer-first culture.
What youll do:
Own the process Run end-to-end hiring for retail roles across the UK from part-time sales assistants to multi-site managers.
Be the local expert Use your knowledge of regional labour markets to source the best people fast.
Get the word out Promote roles via job boards social media and local campaigns boosting our employer brand along the way.
Partner with managers Coach store and area managers on recruitment best practices and help them make smart hiring decisions.
Build pipelines Stay ahead of demand by proactively sourcing for high-turnover roles.
Refine & improve Keep the process slick candidate-friendly and legally compliant and always look for ways to improve.
What you bring:
Experience hiring for high-volume customer-facing retail roles (multi-site experience a plus)
A strong understanding of local labour trends across the UK
Confidence using job boards LinkedIn and social platforms to attract great people
Experience advising hiring managers and training them on recruitment processes
Knowledge of UK employment law related to hiring
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
