Multi-Skilled Engineer
Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer looking for a fresh challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Our client is a leading packaging company based in Telford seeking a hands-on engineer to join their dynamic maintenance team. This role offers a mix of electrical and mechanical responsibilities supporting production through preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in a 3-week rotating on-call schedule (Monday to Wednesday up to 11pm)
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar electro-mechanical maintenance role ideally in manufacturing or packaging
- Strong electrical diagnostics and fault-finding skills plc knowledge advantageous.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems pneumatics and hydraulics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. 17th/18th Edition desirable)
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to 50000 DOE
- 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.00pmFriday (42hr week)
