Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative is seeking:Speech and Language Pathologist for grades K -12We are seeking Speech Language Pathologist. This is a full time position. SMAC is an inter-district agency providing special education services to children from preschool through grade 12 throughout the state of Maine. We are part of a state-wide initiative fostering collaboration between districts to fill special service provider shortages achieving efficiencies for schools and cost-savings for taxpayers. Our team of SLPs Psychologists Special Educators and Behavioral Health Professionals serve Maines young learners in districts from Kittery to Job Duties:The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:1. Assessing childrens communication skills for the purpose of identifying communication disorders determining program eligibility and developing recommendations for treatment.2. Collaborating with a variety of groups and/or individuals for the purpose of communicating information resolving issues and providing services in compliance with established guidelines.3. Developing and implementing treatment plans interventions and/or educational materials for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of communication disorders in compliance with regulatory Valid Speech Pathologist license as issued by the Maine State Board of Examiners on Speech Pathology and Audiology.2.
