Job Description
Job Summary:
The main job duty is to perform a variety of maintenance functions necessary to keep the respective equipment in operation in a safe state of readiness during the employees assigned shift. Maintenance functions shall include a high skill level of mechanics electrical hydraulics and pneumatics. Adherence to a preventative maintenance work ethic is essential. The ability to recognize and define maintenance problems collect data analyze and formulate valid decisions so as to resolve or minimize maintenance problems is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and assess work orders/blue prints/schematics/ladder logic controls.
- Examine and inspect engines for wear or defects. Must be able to dismantle motors troubleshoot and repair the problem. Able to repair or replace mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic parts using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
- Understand PLC controls. Ability to install small motors
- Maintain systems in good working order. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Prompt attention to maintenance calls i.e. breakdowns questions etc.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School or equivalent
- Journeyman electrical skill level.
- Journeyman millwright skill level.
