Entergys Power Generation group operates a fleet of more than 30 owned leased or operated natural gas coal oil hydro and petroleum coke plants with total engineering capacity of over 18500 megawatts and is building or acquiring more than 3000 megawatts of new natural gas generation to join its 30000 megawatts of nuclear natural gas coal oil hydroelectric and solar facilities.
*This position can be filled as a Planner/Scheduler Coordinator or Planner/Scheduler Coordinator Sr depending on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate*
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Manages the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plant. Procures all materials secure available manpower and schedule activities in accordance with Entergys maintenance management process to maintain all RMP goals. Maintains store room inventory and manages associated plant budgets. Performs long range planning for outage maintenance tasks and auxiliary outage projects and develops integrated outage schedules for all outage tasks. Performs contract management activities to support auxiliary outage work. Ensures all work is completed in accordance with Entergy procedures and within compliance guidelines (SoX).
