The Opportunity : Business Development Manager
As regional Business Developer Ecommerce you are in charge of developing new business opportunities with new clients with a main focus on medium & large are responsible for the development of a new client portfolio. You will repport to Account Specialist Manager.
You support and advise these businesses on their payment needs & solutions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the development of a new client portfolio with Belgian merchants.
- You support and advise these businesses on their ecommerce payment needs & solutions.
- You visit on a regular basis medium and large sized prospects to develop new business opportunities.
- You reach out actively to potential prospects via cold calling based on data base research.
- You also follow-up on leads received via other channels.
- You negotiate and close deals in in a slightly longer sales cycle (1-3 months)
- You participate in networking events
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:
- You have preferably a Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience
- Fluent in French and English Dutch any other language is a plus.
- You are a real sales hunter with the needed perseverance to succeed
- You are interested in ecommerce
- You have a nose for commercial opportunities
- You gain quickly organizational and market insight
- Result driven team player selling gives you the yessss-feeling
- You experience targets as a challenge rather than a stress
- Ability to work on own initiative and stick to tight deadlines
- You have a strong interest in technical products
- Strong communication skills
- Administration preciseness & follow-up of your sales activities is a key ability
- You are based in Belgium.
