We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a motivated and skilled finance team and take responsibility for financial operations financial planning reporting and compliance while executing strategic initiatives to enhance business performance. You will work closely with senior leadership providing financial insights and ensuring operational excellence.
As a Finance Manager you will engage with regional global and local leadership to advance the finance landscape at COWI Poland. Your focus will be on enhancing efficiency generating actionable business insights supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
Furthermore on a day-to-day basis you will:
- Lead mentor and develop the finance team to enhance performance and promote a culture of compliance and collaboration.
- Oversee financial planning budgeting and forecasting providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive initiatives to optimize financial processes improve profitability and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with Polish accounting standards and COWI policies.
- Monitor financial performance analyze key metrics and actively identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage risk and compliance including internal controls audits and alignment with Polish tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and transparency.

On top of that you have:
- Professional qualifications in ACCA CIMA MBA (Finance) or an equivalent finance-related degree.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance leadership with international consulting engineering or professional services firm.
- Extensive knowledge of Polish accounting standards taxation and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial planning reporting risk management and compliance.
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools such as Maconomy R2patnik and other relevant systems.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
